New England's Rock n' Roll Talk Show, "Scorch TV" announced its new air time on WMFP today; Saturdays nights at 10:30 p.m. beginning December 17, 2011. Me-TV announced an affiliation agreement with WMFP-TV in the Boston market last month. "Scorch TV's" new time slot occurs in conjunction with ME TV's (owned by NRJ TV and managed by Titan Broadcast Management) first official week working in affiliation with Boston's WMFP-TV channel 62. Me-TV has replaced RTV on the station.

"Scorch TV" is hosted by Rock 101 personality Scorch with co-host, comedian Chris Zito. "Scorch TV" is produced by MediaBoss Television.

The late night show features interviews with music personalities, comedians, and celebrities, live performance from national and local acts and plenty of irreverent fun with Scorch and Zito.

Among the show's recent guests are rock groups Candlebox and Saving Abel, MTV reality star, Cara-Maria Sorbello, car czar Ernie Boch Jr., World Champion Boston Cannon's lacrosse coach, Bill Daye, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

"When MediaBoss and I decided to partner up, I knew 'Scorch TV' would be taken to levels it has never been," host Scorch said. "The Good News is, 'Scorch TV' is moving to Prime Time. The Bad News is, you'll have to look at Zito and myself earlier than ever!"

"I couldn't be more excited about this latest evolution of 'Scorch TV,'" said Zito, co-host. "Prime Time! Look out 'Law and Order,' here we come!"

"This is like a dream job," Zito added. "Getting to work with such an accomplished rock jock that I've admired for so long during my own radio career means so much! I feel like the luckiest guy on New England television."

"This is an exciting development. It speaks volumes to the production quality and improvement in the program," Ian Barrett, Creative Director of MediaBoss Television said, adding, "Our goal is to have this nationally syndicated and we look forward to reaching that goal in 2012."

"Scorch TV" will debut at its new time this Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 10:30 p.m. and will feature interviews with world famous virtuoso guitarist Johnny A.
