Online, July 23, 2010 (Newswire.com) - As of October, Graham Norton will be taking over for Jonathan Ross in his late Friday night slot on the BBC. mingle trend conducted a representative survey to ask Britons who they think is the best late night TV host.
Michael Parkinson and Jonathan Ross, who are both renowned for attracting top celebrities to their shows including David Beckham on Ross' closing show took the majority of the votes with 31% and 25% respectively. Ross' replacement, Norton, was not far behind with a fifth. Ross gained the majority of his popularity with women whereas Parkinson had much more appeal with the male audience, of whom over a third voted for him.
