New FarFaria iPad App to Include Educational Stories from ABDO
The partnership kicks off with the release of 21 titles to the app
Online, March 26, 2014 (Newswire.com) - ABDO (www.abdopublishing.com), a leading educational publisher, announced today a partnership with FarFaria, which kicks off with the release of 15 nonfiction titles and four fiction titles across four series. Each of the four series will be released on FarFaria's iPad app throughout the months of April to July of 2014.
"ABDO is always looking to create the most engaging fiction and nonfiction titles to encourage a lifelong love of reading in young children. We are enthusiastic about this new partnership with FarFaria, which will allow readers to experience our books on a whole new level of imaginative, easy-to-use, and truly kid-friendly digital access," shared Paul Abdo, Editor-in-Chief at ABDO.
FarFaria will first release Diva Duck, a popular fiction series featuring four stories by award-winning author Janice Levy and adorable illustrations by Colleen Madden. The nonfiction series Sports by the Numbers, Biggest, Baddest, Books for Boys, and All About Your Senses will follow.
Sports by the Numbers cleverly promotes reading comprehension and math practice through sports stories and game information. The Biggest, Baddest, Books for Boys series engages reluctant readers through photos, illustrations, and facts about a range of topics from bugs to pirates. All About Your Senses explores each of the five senses in relation to kid-friendly, real-world experiences.
FarFaria CEO and Co-Founder Ajay Godhwani stated, "At FarFaria, we are focused on making reading more accessible and helping children improve their reading levels. We're excited to partner with ABDO, a leading educational publisher that shares our vision of providing quality content to children everywhere."
FarFaria's library currently includes more than 600 children's stories, with five new stories being added each week. Users can enjoy unlimited access to their favorite books for a monthly subscription fee of $3.99. For more information, visit www.FarFaria.com or download the app in the App Store.
