New, Fashion-Forward Salon Hits Jacksonville, FL

Online, May 15, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Mod Style Lab, the salon, opened its doors for business May 2013 in the quaint neighborhood of San Marco.

Owner and Hair Stylist, Tina Krinhop, opened the salon to fulfill her vision of a great hair salon. Tina explained, "I wanted to create an environment that is contemporary and stylish, yet maintain an unpretentious environment that was fun and inviting. The salon is located in a cozy cottage, therefore it just feels inviting...not the typical galley style, impersonal space that you often see in salons in the area. But it still has that bit of 'edge' that makes a salon cool."

The salon offers a full spectrum of hair services. The experienced team specializes in cutting, color, styling, and extensions. Mod Style Lab is now taking appointments, and can be contacted conveniently via phone, text or email to book.

Outside of the salon, Owner Tina Krinhop has been featured in numerous fashion shows, print, and television. She also was a national finalist in the avant-garde styling competition Battle of the Strands in 2012. "Avant-garde styling isn't something that I do inside the salon [laughs]. It is extreme hair! I do it as an artistic outlet. People are amazed when they see the crazy and fun things you can do with hair!"

Mod Style Lab is located at 1648 San Marco Blvd, and has off-street parking available to clients. Appointments are open Monday through Saturday, and evening (after work) appointments are available.
