New Hospitality Energy Efficiency Promotion Announced at Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce "Business Is Green" Expo

Online, March 17, 2011 (Newswire.com) - At the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Business Is Green Expo, GC Green, The Conservation Services Group, and Amana-Goodman Corporation announced a new promotion targeting increased energy efficiency for hotels, motels, and resorts in the greater San Diego region.

Amana builds industry-leading brand Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners (PTACs) and air-conditioning and heating products for the hotel/hospitality and assisted-living services industries. Amana has a series of PTAC and PTHP Controllers that can reduce the operating costs of hotel heating and cooling costs with their Premium Energy Management Systems. These systems can allow hotel operators to save up to 35% on their PTAC energy consumption. Conservation Services Group is able offer hotels significant discounts on the purchase and installation of this equipment through their Premium Efficiency Cooling Program, an initiative funded by California utility customers and administered by San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E®) under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission.

Through this program select hotels will be able to:

• Choose between 50 and 25 room packages that allow hotels to receive a rebate plus discounted coupon voucher for 50% off the price of replacement PTAC units.
• Free DD01E ($100 value) Amana controller units to the first 500 guest rooms with coupon promotion.
• Receive up to $50 per guest room towards an installation of controllers.

Any remaining costs for the products or installation with this promotion are eligible for 0% financing through SDG&E's on-bill financing program.

GC Green, a member of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, has been chosen as a preferred installer of the units.
