Inventors Launchpad and OE Capital Partners announced a joint venture to create Future Products of America (FPOA), an umbrella for a new line of products, which will give American inventors the opportunity to manufacture and distribute their products to major retailers across the United States. The goal of FPOA is to ensure the success of the American inventor by providing access to an arsenal of resources otherwise unobtainable to the average inventor.

“There are two major challenges for every inventor,” explains Rick Valderrama, CEO of FPOA and eleven year USAF veteran. “Product development isn’t cheap and often costs are grossly underestimated. That’s just the nature of the game.  So securing capital to fund the project from beginning to end is challenge number one. But if an inventor is fortunate enough to find the funds and obtain inventory, the second challenge is finding the right people, like buyers, who can actually get the product onto store shelves. At FPOA we have the capital and we have the relationships. Now we’re searching nationwide for inventors to license their products to us.”

"As a veteran, I can't think of anything more fulfilling than helping American inventors realize their full potential while making everyday lives easier with an innovative product. It truly is the American dream."

By licensing his or her product to FPOA, an inventor assumes no financial risk, which is a leading factor in why so many inventions never make it to market. “Most often, by the time an inventor gets a patent and designs a prototype, which can cost tens of thousands of dollars or more, he or she is already out of money and cannot move forward with the idea,” Valderrama states. To prevent said stagnancy FPOA will take on the responsibility of design and development, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution of the product and all costs associated with this process. In return the inventor will earn a percentage of all sales and will have realized the dream of getting a product onto store shelves and into the American home, which is really what FPOA is all about.

“As a veteran, I can’t think of anything more fulfilling than helping American inventors realize their full potential while making everyday lives easier with an innovative product. It truly is the American dream.”

Currently FPOA is seeking a broad range of everyday household products that can be used in every home throughout the United States.

About Inventors Launchpad

Inventors Launchpad was founded in 2010 by a group of inventors who understand the challenges of being an inventor. Having been through the rigmarole of napkin sketch to purchase order they knew there had to be an easier way to turn an idea into a viable product. Through trial and error and careful consideration of every step in the process, they developed what is now known as the Inventors Roadmap, which is a step-by-step guide for inventors that focuses on product viability and speed to market. Inventors Launchpad is headquartered in Tampa, FL.
