Griff Hamlin, in partnership with Bob Murnahan, has released a new series of lessons on lead guitar playing at http://claptontorndown.com/pr/. The lessons are free to watch and cover Bob's 4 step process for learning how to create guitar solos and play lead guitar. The associated DVD course, "Clapton Torn Down" will also be available on Tuesday, May 2nd.

Griff Hamlin of Blues Guitar Unleashed has worked closely with Bob for many years. They have also conducted a live guitar playing clinic together in October of 2009. Bob's work at studying and transcribing Eric Clapton's recorded material, along with many students' troubles getting started in playing lead guitar, prompted the new lesson series.

"Bob is one of the few guitar teachers I really admire online," says Griff. "He has taught thousands of lessons over the years and it really shows in the way he presents material and the way he organizes it. You almost can't help but learn it as he demonstrates it."

There are currently 3 lessons available, and a 4th will be available "in the next day or two," says Griff. The 4 step process covered in the videos is the same process uses in the "Clapton Torn Down" course that will be available Tuesday. According to Griff, "These 4 lessons are the bird's eye view of the process. In the course Bob gets way more in depth."
