New Lucie Jones Fansite Launched
Online, October 4, 2009 (Newswire.com) - The 18-year-old singer from Wales won a fantastic standing ovation and a pass to the next stage of the ITV talent content after belting out Whitney Houston's I will Always Love You on her first showing. We were so impressed that we've launched a fansite.
Praise from the judges was universal, Simon Cowell was forced to munch his words (he had been skeptical of her track choice). The former adventure scout, from Pentyrch, Cardiff, impressed an undecided Simon Cowell who had asked "Are you sure you want to do that song?" After hearing her performance, the beaming promoter told her it was one of the toughest tracks in the word to sing.
Fellow judge Louis Walsh said to the elated teenager: "Some people were born to sing. You were born to sing. Everything is going to change for you from this day on." Openly he thought she was an extraordinary singer.
"This is my ticket out of the little village on top of a hill, with all the sheep" said Lucie Jones to the X Factor judges "This is my dream, I've never wanted to do anything else. I'm now one step closer," she told them.
We'll be supporting Lucie Jones every single step of the way. She's an extraordinary singer and we're sure she'll make it all the way to the finals.
