New Media Mogul Carla B. To Take Over Rising Star Music Awards In Los Angeles

Online, July 31, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Founder of the Rising Star Music Awards (RSMA), Shelia Ferguson announced on July 29th that she would in fact be stepping down, and "new media" mogul Carla B. would be producing the event starting in 2013, for the 5th annual awards.

Regarded as one of the most elite events of the year, RSMA™ has been critically acclaimed for introducing and predicting musical trends and celebrating the best of Los Angeles in entertainment. The ceremony honors artists representing a wide spectrum of music, from superstars to street singers, ranging from rhythm and blues, pop, soft rock, country, to hip-hop and folk-as well as actors, actresses, philanthropists and everything in between.
