Online, June 29, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Schiller Park, IL, June 28, 2010 - Mobile Mark's line of Multiband Antennas now include broadband coverage for AWS 1.7 & 2.1 GHz and WiMAX at 2.5-2.7 GHz.
The SMW Surface Mounted Multiband Antennas are noted for providing simultaneous operations on a variety of bands within one antenna. Typical configurations of the SMW antennas cover Voice/Data bands, WiFi 2.4 GHz band along with GPS.
The latest addition, the SMW-406 Series, offers four separate cable feeds covering GPS, 800-2700 MHz, 1700-2700 MHz and dual 2.4/5.0 GHz. Each feed corresponds to a separate modem.
Many different wireless applications can be supported with the two broadband antenna elements: The 800-2700 GHz element can be used for Cellular 850/1900/2100 MHz, WiMAX at 2.5 GHz, or a second WiFi. The 1700-2700 MHz element can be used for AWS-1 band 1.7-2.1 GHz, GSM 1.9 GHz, WiFi 2.4 GHz or WiMAX 2.5 GHz.
As wireless applications multiply, many users are finding it difficult to juggle the number of per-vehicle installation. Mobile Mark's three-feed and four-feed multi-band antennas are ideal solutions for mobile applications.

The SMW antennas are enclosed in a weather-proof radome, supplied with all mounting hardware and sealing gasket. They can be mounted to any vehicle, cargo container or trailer.
