New Personal Standing Assistant For Users Of Electric Adjustable Office Desks

With LINAK Desk Control™ software, the user controls the desk via software on the PC/Mac and commands any movement from the computer keyboard. The software guides the user to optimum use of the desk functions and is very simple and intuitive to use

Adjustable desks give users the capability to choose a working position that is ideal for their body. This helps eliminate discomfort caused by a “desk that does not fit”.

Using a sit-stand desk offers the end-user substantial health and efficiency gains; many studies prove this to be true. But, overriding the learned sedentary behaviour is a true behavioural challenge. With LINAK Desk Control, the end-users get an on-screen standing assistant for guidance to optimum use of the desk functions.

Much more than desk control
Through working closely with clients, LINAK DESKLINE develops complete, innovative and reliable systems, resulting in functional and aesthetic solutions. The new software is the answer to office desk manufacturers, who request simple and intuitive tools ensuring that desks are used correctly and the benefits of the use of height adjustable desks are optimised, and that is exactly what the new software is all about.

Besides driving the desk up and down, the users can set goals for their movements (time or calories burned), get readout of their actual position, set preference positions and see a history of their movements (time and calories burned). A desktop reminder alert the user to stand up and work, ensuring that they keep up with their personal goal.

Get the brand on the table
LINAK offers a standard version of the software, but desk manufacturers are also offered to customise the user interface. With customised software desk manufacturers have the possibility to get their brand and company colours on the table.

To use the LINAK Desk Control software, the office desk manufacturers purchase the electric lifting column system from LINAK (including a LINAK USB cable) and download the Desk Control software from the LINAK website. Desk Control is backwards compatible with existing DESKLINE systems.
