New Resource for UK Virtual Assistants

The Society of Virtual Assistants launched their new resource for UK virtual assistants at http://www.societyofvirtualassistants.co.uk today.

Caroline Wylie, founder of SVA said "It's great to have all the information a virtual assistant needs to set up and run their own business in one place. Whilst there is lots of information available for VAs online, most of it is USA-specific and not suited for a UK market. We kept on being asked the same questions by new VAs on the forum so collating all the information in easy to use categories made sense."

The categories cover:
• Training
• Marketing
• Recommended Reading for virtual assistants
• Hiring a VA - For Clients
• Specialist Niches
• Bookkeeping/Accounts
• Legal
• Call Answering
• Pricing
• Typing
• Equipment and virtual assistant tools
• Multi-VA/Expansion
• How To Guides
• Social Media
• Newsletters
• Internet/websites

The site was started back in 2005 when founder Caroline Wylie teamed together with a small number of VAs to raise the profile of virtual assistants and freelance secretarial staff in the UK. The society flourished with the boom in home working, freelancing and micro-businesses. The new website replaces the old static website and encompasses search features and guest blog writers.
