New Sales Training Class Presents a Number of Job Opportunities for Recent College Grads in 2011
Graduates are given the opportunity for entry into a tough job market through SPEED, a six-week all-expenses paid sales training program hosted by SkillStorm, a national technical consulting and outsourcing firm
Online, December 2, 2010 (Newswire.com) - SkillStorm today announced the launch of the company's next innovative sales training program class - the SkillStorm Program for Extreme Educational Development, also known as SPEED. After three successful training classes in 2010, SPEED returns for a new session beginning on January 31st, 2011 in San Diego, California. SPEED is a highly competitive training program where ten candidates are selected to compete for Technical Recruiter positions with SkillStorm. Individuals selected for the program experience a competitive learning environment that combines lecture-style sessions with rigorous, hands-on field experience in recruiter and sales training. Participants enjoy a salary, full accommodations and opportunities to win several prizes, including cash bonuses, throughout the duration of the six-week course. In the end, only the best of the class are offered lucrative, full-time positions in one of six SkillStorm offices nationwide.
The next SPEED training class is currently open to applicants. Those interested in the program can complete the free SPEED Personality Assessment at http://www.SkillStorm.com/SPEED to be considered.
The timing of the new SPEED class presents a perfect employment opportunity for winter college graduates entering an aggressive job market in the New Year. The program is currently being advertised in a variety of ways including a dedicated Facebook page and viral marketing campaign; information sessions and informal meet-and-greets at a number of campus locations; contests within Greek communities at a number of schools; job postings at University Career Centers; and email blasts through a partnership with Career Athletes, the leading provider of dedicated career development services and software within collegiate athletics.
"From the inception of SPEED, we've received hundreds of applications for each of our training classes and the number just keeps growing. Graduates from across the nation are excited about the opportunity to take part in such a unique and innovative training program," said SkillStorm CEO Vince Virga. "This is a great opportunity for recent grads to get a foot in the door and really learn about our business. SkillStorm is proud to invest in such an intensive training program because we know we are bringing in the best of the best and placing our organization on the track for success."
Each semester, SPEED participants are given several fun and interactive opportunities to connect with an online audience who can follow their progress throughout the course of the program; for example, trainees record their thoughts and experiences during the course via video testimonials posted on the SPEED YouTube Channel at http://www.youtube.com/SPEEDtraining2010. Participants also share day-to-day updates about their progress on the SPEED blog at http://www.SkillStorm.com/SPEEDblog. The program was recently recognized for these efforts at the ERE 2010 Creativity Excellence Awards, winning third place for Best Multimedia Campaign in the College Communications category and ranking among companies such as Verizon Wireless, Coca Cola, Nestle and Bank of America.
