New Shelter Publication for the North Shore of Boston Names Award-Winning Design, Architectural, and Home Editor and Author as Editor

Nancy E. Berry has held editorial roles at New Old House, Period Homes, Cape Cod Home, and Old-House Journal, and has written for Design New England, Traditional Building, and Preservation Magazine. She is now at the helm of the new Northshore Home magazine.

Northshore magazine is launching a new shelter publication, Northshore Home magazine, this fall, which highlights the best in architectural design, new construction and renovations, interiors, and landscape design. At the helm of the new Northshore Home is award-winning, nationally published writer and editor of numerous shelter magazines and books, Nancy E. Berry.

Ms. Berry has had an illustrious career in the shelter magazine industry, having edited both regional and national home and lifestyle titles. She has been the editor of New Old House, which she launched in 2004, and Period Homes—consumer and trade titles, respectively, that focus on traditional architecture. She has also served as the editor of Cape Cod Home, senior editor of Old-House Journal, and has written for Design New England, Traditional Building, and Preservation Magazine among numerous other magazine titles. Berry was involved in Williams-Sonoma’s launch of cultivate.com—providing editorial content every week for this kitchen design website.

Ms. Berry has been a champion of tasteful modern and classical design for more than 15 years. Today, she is a board member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art New England Chapter, as well as a member of Historic New England and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. We couldn't ask for a more talented, qualified editorial leader for our new shelter title, Northshore Home magazine.

She has lectured on the subject of home and kitchen design at the Traditional Building Conference, Historic Home Show, Surfaces, and other local and national tradeshows and conferences.
