New Site Connects Aspiring Writers with Passionate Readers

"The Word Runs Through It" brings together those who love reading and writing to share their opinions, ideas and advice.

It's said that everyone has a novel inside of them however in the past there were too many barriers to allow most of these stories to be heard. Now in these wizzy times of internet access for all and the growth of electronic publishing many of those barriers have gone. Yet people still lack the confidence or knowledge to fully exploit the opportunities offered.

"The Word Runs Through It" is an online community that gives those who write, whether published or not, the confidence and technical means to find an engaged audience for their writing and those who enjoy reading, an opportunity to discover and support new writing.

This integrated community of readers and writers is supported by a group of published and unpublished writers for whom the word, whether read, written, spoken or performed has always been the most important thing.

"The Word Runs Through It" addresses a broad range of issues from what drives people to write, where inspiration comes from, how a wider audience can be found for what is written and how can technology help.

As well as offering guidance and support from those who have been or wish to be published, the site also has a Virtual Writers' Group for the submission and review of work and a Virtual Readers' Group for the free flowing exchange of opinions on what people are reading at the moment. A newsletter is also produced to explore current trends and issues raised on the website in more detail.

Although in its infancy "The Word Runs Through It" is already attracting a loyal and growing following so if you would like to be part of this new movement, visit our site at www.thewordrunsthroughit.com or join the conversations on Twitter and on our Facebook and Google Plus pages.
