New Smartec b/w camera for cost-efficient CCTV systems
Online, July 20, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The product line of Smartec Company security equipment was supplemented by the monochrome STC-1000 surveillance camera designed for working in low light conditions. Camera produces crisp monochrome image with 570 TVL at up to 0.08 lux of minimum illumination, and also features Automatic Gain Control, external synch, gamma correction and backlight compensation. New b/w camera is supplied with a connector for auto iris controlled by video or DC-signal and can work using 24/220 V AC or 12 V DC power supply.
With the help of 1/3" SONY SuperHAD CCD with high resolution and interlaced scan, STC-1000 produces crisp b/w image with 570 TV Lines resolution at up to 0.08 lux of minimum illumination. Such b/w camera enables customer to use lenses of all modifications: manual or auto iris, fixed focal length, varifocal lenses or zoom lens. Backlight compensation feature allows security camera to form clear b/w video signal, even if the monitoring object is located on the bright light.
Unlike some other security cameras Smartec b/w camera "is not afraid" both bright light and dimmed headlight. If surveillance system consists of many cameras with video displayed on one monitor, it is recommended to synchronize all the CCTV cameras on a single camera to avoid image scrolling when switching channels.
Both camera models use method of synchronization based on power supply frequency (Line Lock) that allows installer to carry out automatic synchronization of b/w cameras connected to one phase. If they are connected to different power sources, phase adjustment can be carried out through the screw adjustment on the rear panel of device.
Unlike some analogues this security camera is supplied with electronic iris, enabling customer to utilize inexpensive lens with manual iris rather than auto iris. Lenses with manual iris can be mounted on b/w cameras, operating outdoors where the dynamic range of the electronic shutter is enough to record changes in street lightning conditions and there is no need to control b/w pictures depth of field.
New surveillance b/w cameras are offered from stock by company partners. For additional info about this b/ camera and other Smartec equipment, please, send your request to [email protected] or contact your Smartec dealers directly.
