New Social Media / Talent Website.
New social media / talent website where the people pick the talent.
Online, March 18, 2011 (Newswire.com) - There is a brand new worldwide website dedicated to new talent, of all genres. www.nu2talent.com. Nu2talent is the brainchild of Kim & Liz Sharp of Dyfed. The site hopes to attract talent away from other sites onto the more talent friendly nu2talent.com.
Nu2talent is all about offering an alternative to the judicial intervention and fake theatricals that everyone will be familiar with in most common television talent shows. With nu2talent, every act has an equal chance, no matter how quirky. Nu2talent gives the chance for the public to have a say in the future of their entertainment.
Nu2talent is also all about being more wholesome than some other video sites, there are strict 18+ rules and the administrators promise to do all in their power to enforce the rules. There is a 'flag as inappropriate', button.
Nu2talent will be promoted to agents and talent scouts so talented users stand a good chance of being discovered. There is a 'represent this artist' button on a playing clip for agents to express an interest. There is also a 'Donate' button to hopefully keep the site going for free.
If you think of 'You-Tube' as an online version of 'You've been framed' then www.nu2talent is an online version of 'Britain's got talent' or the 'X-Factor'.
Nu2talent is followed by Welsh comedian, Mike Doyle, Welsh TV star and writer, Boyd Clack and Phantom of the opera Peter Karrie on Facebook.
The site is free to join and free to use. Members can post audio or video clips of their talent on the site and all members are then encouraged to vote on the clips they find most interesting or entertaining. Votes can be positive or negative just to make it interesting. Users can also email clips, comment on clips, save clips to their nu2talent home page or save clips to their browser favourites and of course upload clips.
