New Sports Massage Specialist at Body Mechanics Orthopedic Massage
Online, September 24, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Body Mechanics Orthopedic Massage is a collection of highly trained orthopedic massage therapists located in the heart of mid-town Manhattan, right around the corner from Grand Central Terminal. The clinic boasts luxuriously decorated rooms and caters to clients who need massage for injury, sports massages, prenatal massage, orthopedic massage, TMJ, lymphatic drainage and various active release and trigger point therapies.
Joining the team this September at Body Mechanics Orthopedic Massage is Sarah Sanborn, a license massage therapist with extensive knowledge and experience in sports massage.
Sarah Sanborn became a Licensed Massage Therapist after a chronic running injury compelled her to understand and work with the human body. She went on to study at The Swedish Institute, graduating top of her class, and then quickly dove right back into training for triathlons.
Today, Sarah specializes in sports massage, pain management and has worked with World Champion triathletes and Olympic athletes of various disciplines. Sarah combines various modalities such as trigger point therapy, PNF stretching, myo-fascial release and deep tissue work to help relieve pain and facilitate healing to allow you to get back to doing what you love. Sarah is also currently a Candidate for a Master's of Science Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. Outside of massage, Sarah is very active in sports and training for triathlons and will do any race that involves a costume.
Sarah Sanborn will be working at the clinic on Wednesdays and Saturdays. To book an appointment with Sarah you can visit the Body Mechanics Orthopedic Massage website.
