New Study Confirms Viora's PulseConfigurRhythm™ (PCR™) Technology Is Effective and Safe
Proprietary, advanced IPL technology for hair removal, acne clearance, vascular lesions, hyperpigmentation and skin rejuvenation provides flexible, customizable solution
Jersey City, NJ, December 22, 2015 (Newswire.com) - A new clinical study, “Intense Pulsed Light Pulse Configuration Manipulation Can Resolve the Classic Conflict Between Safety and Efficacy”, published in the November 2015 edition of the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology (JDD), discusses the effective use of Viora’s PulseConfiguRhythm™ (PCR™) for IPL applications for all skin types. Authored by Inna Belenky (PhD), Cruzy Tagger (MD) and Andrea Bingham (RE), the study shows that the manipulation of pulse configuration, energy fluence and pulse duration have a direct influence on the safety and outcome of IPL treatments. The ability to choose between three pulse configurations gives practitioners a superior level of flexibility, which then allows them to treat patients of all Fitzpatrick skin types. The study consisted of 101 patients with Fitzpatrick skin types I-VI, and was held over a one year period to monitor long-term results. Treatments for hair removal, acne clearance, vascular lesions, hyperpigmentation and skin rejuvenation were performed with the V-IPL handpiece, according to Viora’s clinical protocols. Within each group of patients, significant results were achieved by generating various pulse configurations as well as providing adjustable pulse duration. Following treatment sessions, it was confirmed that PCR™ enables unprecedented control and versatility. The V-IPL is available with the V20 and V30 multi-technology platforms.

“Viora has heard from doctors over and over about the profound effects our revolutionary PCR™ technology is having on their IPL treatments,” said Eliran Almog, CEO, Viora Ltd. “The capability to change treatment parameters, by adjusting the pulse configuration depending upon the patient’s skin type and symptom is leading to better results and happier patients.”
About PCR™
Viora’s PCR™ (PulseConfiguRhythm™) technology customizes the pulse configuration, so that practitioners can tailor treatments specific to each patient’s skin type, per their specific needs. The determination of a Single, Multiple or Rapid pulse is dependent upon skin type (I-VI), symptom’s depth and delivers the most efficient treatment possible.
