New Successor To Kelly Hutter da Silva Elected October 1st.
Kelly Hutter da Silva, since January the president of "Miss Latina del Mundo", resigned end of this summer from her post. The new elections were held this week and the successor takes office on October 1st 2010 in New York.
Online, September 30, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Kelly Hutter da Silva could not reach all the set objectives and conversations with partners in Brazil did not take place. Meanwhile, new elections were held and the successor will carry out the nominations for "Miss Latina del Mundo 2010" end of October.
With these new appointments some conceptual structures and ideas will be reviewed. The combination beauty pageant and model contest remains. The participants present themselves on stage, catwalk and a photo shoot. This provides greater scope for fashion designers and photographers. When asked whether this model contest is maybe a copy of "Germany's Next Top Model", says the successor, Norbert R. Wittwer: "GNTM explicitly is a TV format and is a reality show. One of the differences to GNTM are our criterias for participation: candidates may be unmarried, childless, and must prove their descent from Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain or Portugal or have a parent in such country. Delegates will participate in following categories: Miss (18-26 years), Teen (14-17 years) and Pre-Teen (10-13 years) ".
"Miss Latina del Mundo 2010" will be nominated on October 30th in Zurich (Switzerland) and this raises the question about the next finale. Traditional venues in Caribbean or Latin America are very popular, but it is not impossible that 2011, the event will take place in Switzerland or Italy. Initial negotiations with broadcasters and media were taken and we are confident to announce end of December date and place for the next Finale.
