New Versatile Electric Pump For Use With Wind Turbine Bolt Tensioners

Hydraulic bolt tensioning for wind turbines has now become easier, thanks to the introduction of the new WTP3 electric-driven, high-pressure hydraulic pump.

Tentec has launched a new electric-driven, high-pressure hydraulic pump for use with its renowned Aero range of bolt tensioning equipment. The WTP3, a self-contained unit with the ability to generate pressures up to 1600 bar, features an innovative handheld controller that enables engineers to operate the pump remotely. It has been specifically designed for global use and so can be supplied in many voltage and phase configurations.

Reliability and durability of this compact pump have been assured by the use of highest quality hydraulic valves and components and the WTP3 has been certified to IP-56, making it suitable for use in adverse conditions. The ergonomically designed remote facility controls functions including start-up and unit stop, pressure build-up and pressure relief and there is a miniature emergency button to automatically relieve pressure in case of an emergency. An option for electronic display of pressure readings on the hand-held unit is also available.
