New Website Releases Updated Heart Rate Monitor Reviews
Online, November 8, 2010 (Newswire.com) - As Americans get more heart healthy, a new website hopes to continue this trend by providing consumers access to heart rate monitor reviews.
"The amount of heart attacks suffered by Americans is dropping. A recent study this summer by the New England Journal of Medicine shows that the nation suffered 25% less heart attacks than just 10 years ago. I think this is due to a higher interest in personal health. Hopefully, our site can help continue this trend through education," says Carly Simpson, cardiovascular research and webmaster of http://www.heartrate-monitorreviews.com/
Simpson has been studying cardiovascular health for 13 years and says she is excited about the new developments in the heart rate monitor field.
"2009 and 2010 have been good years in the industry. The cost of heart rate monitors continues to drop. Just as good, the quality of them is rising too. Some of the first heart rate monitors we saw were very inaccurate and unwieldy," claims Simpson.
Simpson's new website will be completed this year. It will feature in-depth reviews of all currently available heart rate monitors, as well as allowing consumers to review their own.
"With obesity and diabetes on the rise, we hope our site can help continue to fight back against poor cardiovascular health," adds Simpson.
