NewAge(R) Industries Announces New Roles For Two Key Team Members
NewAge has promoted Lawrence Morano to Global Sales Manager for its AdvantaPure products and Stephen McDevitt to Assistant Inside Sales Manager. Morano will manage AdvantaPure's distributors, while McDevitt will assist the Inside Sales Manager.
Southampton, PA, January 19, 2015 (Newswire.com) - NewAge Industries announces the promotions of Lawrence Morano and Stephen McDevitt, both members of the company’s sales team. One advancement arose due to the promotion of another employee, while the other satisfies a newly-created position.
Lawrence Morano has been named Global Sales Manager for the company’s AdvantaPure(R) high purity products division. This appointment was previously held by Michael Allard, who was recently promoted to Director of Sales. In his new role Morano will manage AdvantaPure’s worldwide sales channel network, develop strategies for the continued growth of the AdvantaPure business at NewAge and represent the company at numerous international trade shows.
Allard stated that “since Lawrence was hired in 2014 as a Regional Sales Manager, he has done a great job growing key accounts and managing our sales and distribution channels. He has a strong grasp of our customers’ needs in the markets we serve with our AdvantaPure products, namely pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical.”
Morano’s past experience, which includes outside sales positions for bioprocess and laboratory products sold to the biopharmaceutical industry and an extensive knowledge of Single-Use fluid transfer systems, made him an ideal candidate for Global Sales Manager.
Stephen McDevitt is now NewAge’s Assistant Inside Sales Manager. McDevitt is a twelve-year employee who has, said Allard, “done an outstanding job providing high-quality service to customers and our sales channels. He has contributed significantly to the growth of the AdvantaPure line since its inception and is an exemplary team member.”
The job of Assistant Inside Sales Manager is a new one developed to provide support to the company’s Inside Sales Manager, Annabelle Black. McDevitt will continue to service some of NewAge’s most critical accounts as he assists Black with special projects and takes on management responsibilities. McDevitt’s previous title was Technical Sales Representative.
NewAge Industries is currently seeking applicants for engineering and other sales positions within the United States.
