Newhall Klein Adds Five Staff Members and Promotes Two Employees
Kalamazoo, MI, May 28, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Strategic brand marketing agency Newhall Klein continues to make significant additions to and promotions within its team.
Creative Director Jason Julien is an award winning design veteran with a focus on digital solutions. Julien was most recently Senior User Experience Designer at Elevator Up in Grand Rapids, Mich. Previously he was creative director at various agencies in Chicago, Ann Arbor and Kalamazoo, working with clients including General Motors, Heineken and MoodyRadio. Julien’s work has been featured in a variety of prominent design galleries, including WebCreme, The Best Designs and CSS Remix, as well as in HOW Design magazine. Julien resides with his family in Kalamazoo.
Brett Plew joins Newhall Klein as Director of New Business. Plew previously served as Kellogg’s Account Manager at EPI Marketing Services. With experience as a financial advisor for both Raymond James & Associates, Inc., and A.G. Edwards, Plew lends business and financial acumen to his role of fostering new client relationships and streamlining internal operations. He also brings a technical perspective to the agency, having served as environmental engineer for RR Donnelley and UL (Underwriters Laboratories) in Chicago, Ill. Plew is a resident of downtown Kalamazoo where he, his wife Wendy and their four children are active in the community.
David Winclechter is Project and Packaging Specialist at Newhall Klein–Chicago, a position that has been added as part of Newhall Klein’s strengthening partnerships with Reinhart Foodservice, the largest family-owned foodservice distributor in the U.S. Winclechter manages brand conversions, packaging programs and the detailed effort required to oversee stakeholder communications. Winclechter was previously Packaging Project Manager at Matthews Brand Solutions and Traffic Manager at Newell Rubbermaid (Sanford Brands). A packaging process veteran, Winclechter also has a background in color management, graphic design and art production.
Andrea Wilson joins Newhall Klein as Project/Account Manager, where she will use her skills as a successful marketing planner and executor to foster collaborative client relations and drive business initiatives including media planning. Wilson was previously Audience Solutions Manager at MLive.com, and has served as Sales Manager and Account Executive for Adams Outdoor Advertising. Wilson resides in Kalamazoo, and is a board member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) Southwest Michigan and leads tours for West Michigan Beer Tours.
Richard Swenor joins Newhall Klein as Graphic Designer. Swenor was previously Graphic Designer at FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, Mich., where he produced a variety of digital and printed sales materials, including social media promotions that helped reach and motivate a group of over 280,000+ Facebook followers. A graduate of Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Swenor enjoys biking, climbing and caving. Swenor resides in Kalamazoo and is active with both TEDxKalamazoo and StartupZoo.
Two Newhall Klein employees have been promoted. Tyler Smith is now Account Director. Amanda Richards is now Associate Creative Director.
