Newly Released Labeling Software Breaks Barriers in Desktop Labeling
ISS, a global leader in safety labeling, has released a new labeling software package that will change the way users create custom labels. The new software, FacilityWare, brings together years of customer feedback and input.
Online, February 23, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Industrial Safety Solutions, a worldwide leader in desktop label printing, has just announced the release of an entirely new labeling software package. This new labeling package re-thinks desktop labeling from the ground-up, and significantly reduces the time and training needed to produce professional OSHA, ANSI and Arc Flash labels.
The new software package, which includes several new applications, is highlighted by the first-ever release of FacilityWare Label Manager, a full-featured labeling suite contained in a single application. FacilityWare includes a complete image library and template library, plus more than a dozen instant shortcuts which simplify label creation.
A spokesperson for Industrial Safety Solutions notes; "We have been gathering input from a full gambit of industries, around the globe, in anticipation of this new software release. FacilityWare serves the largest subset of our commercial and industrial customers possible, while still remaining easy to use."
At the core of the new FacilityWare software is the ability to "Drag-and-Drop" items from a labeling "ToolBox" directly onto a label. Everything from text to images, arrows, sign headers, and barcodes, can be easily placed on a label in seconds.
Gerald Trissler, Chief Sales Officer at Industrial Safety Solutions, responds to his team's testing of the new FacilityWare software; "It is literally the best labeling software we have seen, period. We've got guys that have been in this business for decades, and even they are impressed."
FacilityWare boasts a myriad of new features, normally reserved for complex packages costing thousands. Some of these include: infinitely stretchable edge-to-edge text in any font; instant label creation with a drag-and-drop object-based interface; thousands of safety and labeling pictograms, and more.
"It really breaks a barrier," commented Joe Lyman, Product Development Manager at Industrial Safety Solutions, "companies used to staff an expert who was dedicated to understanding a labeling solution. FacilityWare is so approachable that anyone can walk up and start using it with ease."
FacilityWare is scheduled to ship with all SafetyPro Labeling Systems starting immediately. The package is also available to existing SafetyPro users, and a special version is also being made available for owners of other labeling systems starting March 1st.
