News - ScripNet PBM - 'Best Places to Workl'- Business Ins Mag 2009 Award
Online, October 18, 2009 (Newswire.com) - LAS VEGAS, NV - October 19, 2009 ScripNet, a Las Vegas based nationwide pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) who contracts with workers' compensation insurance carriers and pharmacies to make prescription medications available to injured workers, has been awarded one of the "Best Places to Work in Insurance" in 2009 by Business Insurance Magazine, and the only PBM to receive this award.
'Best Places to Work in Insurance' was a joint effort of Business Insurance Magazine and the Harrisburg, Pa.-based Best Companies Group, and was open to all publicly or privately held insurers, agents and brokers with at least 25 employees working in the United States and serving the commercial lines market.
The assessment was a two-part process. Part 1-responsible for 75% of a company's score-involved a confidential 76-question employee engagement and satisfaction survey, used to evaluate employees' workplace experience and the company culture. The second part of the assessment-responsible for 25% of a company's score-was an employer questionnaire, which collected information about each company's employee benefit programs, employment policies, practices and other general information.
The award follows a 2008 'Best Places to Work in Small Business' Award by the Southern Nevada Human Resources Association. ScripNet is also a three time winner of the Inc. 5000.
"We are very proud to receive this prestigious award, recognizing ScripNet as one of the best companies to work in the Insurance Industry," said Dennis Sponer, President and CEO of ScripNet. "I attribute our 12 years of successful operations to the teamwork of our employees.
