Next Round for Europe's Longest-standing Game Developers' Conference: Call for Participation Started for 2014 Quo Vadis in Berlin
Online, December 6, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Today is the official starting date of the international 'Call for Participation' in what is also Europe's longest-standing game developers' conference, first held in 2003. From December 6 to January 17, 2014, proposals will be accepted for workshops, discussion rounds and presentations. For the first time since its inception, Quo Vadis will be held exclusively in English. This is a logical next step in the ongoing internationalization of the event - a process begun in 2013 when a new attendance record was set as more than 2,000 participants from around the world flocked to the German capital. The upcoming Quo Vadis will take place at Cafe Moskau in Berlin from April 8 to 10, 2014. Proposals may be submitted through www.qvconf.com/callforparticipation.
Once the Call for Participation has ended on January 17, the Quo Vadis advisory board will decide on the submitted proposals. The short-listed contributors will then be contacted and asked to provide a detailed outline of their proposed session. By implementing this dual-stage selection process, conference organizer Aruba Events ensures that all presentations will deliver high-quality content, adding further weight to the pre-eminent stature Quo Vadis has gained.
Quo Vadis organizer, Stephan Reichart, is optimistic: "In 2014, Quo Vadis is ready to grow even further as a thoroughly international event. With this next installment, we are set to continue our success story: delivering a wealth of practice-oriented content and providing participants with ample space for networking and meetings. The 2014 conference will feature a larger Business Center, and we look forward to welcoming even more international visitors than in the previous years."
As a professional game developers' conference, Quo Vadis focuses in-depth on all aspects of video game development and marketing, and addresses developers, publishers, decision-makers, researchers and young talents in the industry.
