NFL Future Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez and his Company, All Pro Science, Inc., Donate to Adversity-Stricken High School Football Team

NFL player Tony Gonzalez donated $5,000 worth of sports supplement products on behalf of his all-natural supplement company, All Pro Science, to an economically-impacted high school football team in Orange County, California.

Irvine, CA- On Wednesday, Tony Gonzalez and his all-natural supplement company, All Pro Science (APS), donated over $5,000 in sports nutritional products to Buena Park High School's varsity football team. Tony recently read an article about the Buena Park High School football team in the Orange County Register which discussed the adversity that many of the players face. Struggles at home, with drugs, alcohol and violence are all normal occurrences on Buena Park's team. However, their new coach Anthony White decided to take on the challenges the team faced and transform the team. Since becoming the coach, White has turned the program around from a team that has only had 5 wins in 4 seasons. The team has become very close, and it has been able to compile a 4-0 undefeated start to their season. Article: http://bit.ly/9ofae4

Without hesitation, after reading this article, Tony wanted his company to help. Representatives from All Pro Science arrived at the campus to deliver boxes of APS's Recovery protein shake, hats, shirts, signed copies of Tony's book- The All-Pro Diet, as well as shaker cups for the entire team. APS and Gonzalez wanted to give back to this deserving school, but they also wanted them to understand the importance of a healthy, nutritious lifestyle, which will show its benefits on the field.

When asked about the genesis of the idea, Gonzalez responded, "When I read the article, I just wanted to help these kids. I felt that my company could help in some small way that would enable these kids to be winners both on and off the field. I like what [Coach White] is doing, and I have nothing but good things to say about where this program and these kids are heading. We just wanted to be a part of this."

"We were shocked at how positive these kids were, given what they go through on a daily basis. It's really just a treat for us to be here among these kids. Coach White has really gotten through to them about how to work hard, on and off the field," says APS Athlete Manager Evan Brennan. APS Director of Marketing Greg Kroleski remarked, "We believe that what you put into your body is what you get out of it. Not all of the athletes here can afford to use natural products which tend to be more expensive. We didn't want money to get in the way of their success."

Tony and TEAM APS will be keeping a close eye on the Coyotes throughout the season, monitoring their progress and rooting them to victory each Friday. Preaching all the while, that hard work, determination, and taking care of your body as well as those around you are true, all-natural, ingredients to success.
