Join Sports Management Worldwide, June 23-25th, for a Sports Career Conference at the
2011 NHL Draft as the home of the Minnesota Wild become the center of the hockey
universe. This is your opportunity to gain valuable insight into a variety of careers
from those working at the highest level in hockey and sports in general! This 2-3 day
event will offer unique panel discussions and question-answer periods designed to
solidify the knowledge of every participant. This sports business conference includes
diverse panels including marketing, management, athlete representation, scouting, player
personnel, media and broadcasting, and sports career strategies. The NHL Draft is
expected to attract over 3,000 visitors and more than 500 print, television, and radio
media members to the St. Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota area.

Registration is limited to the first 200. This event has sold out in past years, drawing
attendees from all over North America. The cost of the conference is $225-$300 and
includes a Thursday night Welcome Reception, lower bowl level draft tickets to all seven
rounds of the NHL Draft, Friday Network Lunch, buses to and from downtown Minneapolis to
the Xcel Energy Center, official name badge, attendee packet, and all conference
sessions. College credit for both graduate and undergraduates is available.
