TJ Zizzo is a family man blessed with two healthy children. He understands that treating kids with cancer is about more than just medicine - it also involves the human spirit. If his visit can alleviate the stress of patients and their families, even if only for a few minutes, then it's time well spent. When TJ races on April 27-29 - he will be doing so in honor of a local charity, Heroes for Children. His dragster will carry a decale with the Heroes for Children logo and the autographs of patients he meets at the hospital. Heroes for Children provides financial and social assistance to families in Texas, with children battling cancer.

Zizzo Racing was established 32 years ago. Team Owner, Tony Zizzo Sr. began his racing career in 1980 competing in the Top Alcohol Dragster division. In 2003, TJ earned his NHRA Top Fuel license and ran an amazing 4.742 elapse time at 310.98 mph in his first pass at Route 66 in Joliet, Illinois.

Today, TJ is a top level competitor who consistently focuses on performance and aiming higher. During the 2012 season, TJ will compete in 10 NHRA Top Fuel dragster races with Peak Motor Oil as his title sponsor. TJ and his wife, Jennifer, have two children, Madeline (7) and Nicolas (5).
