Niche Blog "Super Hot Nerds" Hits the Online Airwaves

Online, April 27, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Today, Superhotnerds.com officially announces its presence on the Web catering to the niche market of women and men who are nerdy on the inside but hot on the outside. This blog contains snarky and witty rants about life stuff, raves about unique, wacky and innovative products, has a Super Hot Nerd of the Month, Q & A's with famous Super Hot Nerds (coming soon) and an ongoing list of "You know you're a Super Hot Nerd when...".

Creator and editor of Superhotnerds.com, Maria Losch, realized she is in fact a "hot nerd" when her spokes model girlfriend, Gabrielle Tuite (former Price is Right model) dubbed her as one during a rant Losch was having about social media and SEO. At the time, Losch thought "hot nerds" would make a great t-shirt. While sitting on the idea for six months, Losch had been working on promoting other company brands (she's a PR and marketing consultant by day) and thought, "Why not create and promote my own brand?"

"I'm at a point in my life where I want to enjoy what I do to the fullest and that's embracing all the parts of who I am by not fitting into this cookie-cutter mold of what or who I'm suppose to be in life," said Maria Losch. What are Super Hot Nerds? "Super Hot Nerds know who they are and that's a catch. We have the unforgiving ability to be ourselves. Most people don't know what to make of us at first. Why?
