Nicholson's Prix Fix Menu
Online, May 28, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Nicholson's is excited to announce their summer prix fixe menu featuring three courses for $24.95. The Summer Flavours menu will be available in addition to the regular dinner menu, beginning June 1st through Labor Day. The 3 course menu features fresh seasonal items and guests will have options for each course.
To start, guests have their choice of the Seasonal Soup Du Jour or Carriage House Farms Greens with pickled rhubarb, strawberry, belle radish, fresh goat cheese and bee pollen vinaigrette. The Dessert Sampler includes mini versions of the Sticky Toffee Pudding, Glenmorangie Pot de Crème and Seasonal Cobbler. For the main course, Executive Chef Mark Bodenstein has prepared two choices:
• Smoked chicken breast, shrimp, fresh corn polenta, spring sweet peas, sherry onion soubise
• Spring lamb, asparagus, parmesan mashed potatoes, wild seasonal mushrooms
The Summer Flavours menu will be available daily, beginning at 5pm. Reservations are accepted but not necessary.

Nicholson's is also featuring a new happy hour, Monday-Friday from 3-7pm. Food Specials include $3.95 appetizers such as fried brussels sprouts, deviled eggs, crisps & dip and pub pickles. Drink specials include $3 draft beers, $4 three olives vodka and premium well drinks, $5 select wines and $6 martinis and signature cocktails.
