NNG Appoints New CEO

Peter Balogh is appointed as interim Chief Executive Officer at the Budapest-based navigation software developing company

NNG (formerly Nav N Go), developer of the award-winning iGO Navigation software, has appointed Peter Balogh as interim Chief Executive Officer. The new leader takes up his role on 1st April. Being one of the founders, he held various positions within the company - Chief Technology Officer, Head of Product Marketing, Chief Strategy Officer - therefore, he has a clear view on the firm's operation and strengths. As Chief Strategy Officer, he led the company's entry to the automotive navigation market.

The company has recently changed its name and strengthened its strategy to increasingly focus on the automotive navigation industry, working globally with car manufacturers and leading Tier1 suppliers.

Peter Balogh replaces Tamas Vahl, who held the position of CEO between December 2008 and March 2011, during a challenging period of great change and reorientation in the company. Under his leadership, NNG became a mature and highly professional organization.

"We see great opportunities in the automotive navigation during the coming years. I firmly believe that the experience, flexibility and innovative development attitude of our company will serve as an optimal base to lead this market," says Peter Balogh, new interim CEO of NNG LLC.
