No B.S. Guitar Offering Free One-On-One Lessons For Those Learning How To Play Guitar
Online, May 18, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The just-launched website No B.S. Guitar is blowing up the guitar learning industry in a big way by temporarily offering no-cost private guitar lessons via email to beginner and intermediate players wishing to improve their playing. Just weeks after launching, the website's content is already being seen by thousands of aspiring guitarists worldwide. From all over the world, readers ranging from high school teens to retired seniors seeking to reclaim a forgotten hobby, are all pouring in to subscribe to the free lessons offered on the website. But the biggest draw perhaps may be the free private instruction being offered temporarily to anyone willing to ask.
"The private lessons via email is something I want to do for the next few days to get a better idea of what people really need help with. I can tell you it's not everything. I can't do this forever but anyone who subscribes to No B.S. Guitar will get it free today. All they have to do is go to the website and subscribe. There's no cost for that. Then I'll answer any questions they send me by email," said founder Johnny Lee.
Mr. Lee believes there are only a few small things that are stopping anyone from making tremendous progress on the guitar. He talked about his own experience a few years ago as a beginner as a large motivation for creating the website. "When I got started, it was a nightmare. I couldn't do the most basic things even after practicing constantly for months. Things like switching chords smoothly, figuring out strumming patterns, playing fast, or even just playing a complete song from beginning to end. I couldn't even play a complete song. So it was very depressing for me to have to dig my way out of that hole that I caused myself. If I had known what I know now, it would have saved me years of wasted effort trying to learn something as simple as the guitar. Because it's actually really simple once you know the things I share for free on my new site. Once I discovered 'Pit-stop Practicing' everything became simple." said the Mr. Lee.
Aimed primarily at guitarists just getting started and intermediate guitarists who are struggling, No B.S. Guitar was created to fill in the gaps of knowledge many self-taught guitarists have that he feels will inevitably lead to future struggle. The more typical instruction on chords, music theory, and song tablature will not be found on the website. Mr. Lee insists that there is already enough of that type of material, and will instead focus on what he says is the "20%" of the things that really matter for becoming a great guitar player and musician.
