No Tofu - New Magazine for Independent Film and Music Launches Today
Online, November 6, 2009 (Newswire.com) - No Tofu, a new online magazine which started out in London (UK) but has now expanded to the USA, has gone live today.
Months of behind-the-scenes preparations have come to fruition when the site went live this morning at www.notofu.com. The magazine features daily updated news, features, interviews and reviews on all things film and music, with a particular slant towards independent fare. The magazine went live with review of the new Sufjan Stevens' and Kurt Vile albums, as well as some MP3s and movie reviews, including a preview of the film "The Road".
Contributors span both US and UK thereby bringing a fresh perspective on relevant topics in music and film which other, more geographically-unified magazines, cannot do. Currently, the website has just under a dozen writers contributing content to the magazine.
The magazine hopes to launch a print edition when the time is right and is published independently.
