Noah Lam, COO of CWI Medical, Makes Generous Donation to Team for Kids

Online, September 3, 2010 (Newswire.com) - After becoming a Finalist for the 2010 NDC (National Distribution & Contracting, Inc.) Humanitarian Award, Noah was awarded a $2,500 prize and handed it over to Team for Kids. Noah Lam and his wife, Irene Lam, joined the Team for Kids charity in 2008 and has run the New York City Marathon on their behalf for the past two years. Over the past three years, Noah and Irene Lam have raised over $20,000 for Team for Kids.

"I finally decided to become healthier for my family, so I signed up for the New York City Marathon. Coupled with an opportunity to support a charity like Team for Kids, all the aches and pains seem to subside when training for and competing in the race. It becomes something bigger than yourself." Team for Kids raises funds for New York Road Runners Youth Programs by providing runners entry into the NYC Marathon or NYC Half Marathon. The money raised by each runner provides free or low-cost school and community center based health and fitness programs for children who are most likely at risk to have no access to regular physical activity. Every week, the programs currently serves over 400 schools and centers in New York City, Nationally and in Cape Town, South Africa, which is nearly 100,000 children.
