North Texas Company Reports for Duty at Sky Ball Fundraiser

Fort Worth and Dallas trade show company ups the ante for patriotic cause

North Texas displays provider Skyline DFW Exhibits & Events will be in the company of heroes Saturday as they assist with a major fundraising event honoring our nation's military service members, veterans, and their families. Sky Ball X will take place on Saturday, October 27 at American Airlines Hangar 5 located at the DFW International Airport. Hosted by the Airpower Foundation, America's oldest military support organization, the tenth anniversary of Sky Ball will recognize those who served in Iraq and include a salute to the United States Marine Corps who is celebrating its 100th Anniversary of Marine Aviation.

This event will mark Skyline DFW's initial collaboration with the Airpower Foundation. The exhibit display and event services company has hit the ground running, working tight deadlines and offering creative solutions for the event's planners and sponsors. "We believe in paying it forward. It's a philosophy our team has followed since we opened our doors in 2001. When the opportunity arose to assist in a charitable event like Sky Ball that also had a need for event displays and creative solutions, it was an easy decision to contribute our time and talent," said Jeff Meisner, Skyline DFW CEO.

Skyline recently won the Outstanding Innovator Award for their aptitude in developing new and effective products and will be primarily utilizing new displays for Sky Ball. "For Sky Ball X, Skyline DFW stepped up in a big way to make the event the best yet. Their passion and commitment on behalf of those that wear the cloth of the nation makes us proud to call them the Official Display Company of Sky Ball," said Captain Jim Palmersheim, Sky Ball Co-Chair and Director of Veterans Initiatives at American Airlines. Skyline DFW's team will be in attendance at Sky Ball X and intends on continuing support to the Airpower Foundation and their endeavors in future fundraisers.

Skyline DFW Exhibits & Events also participated in the Military.com and the Non Commissioned Officers Association Career Expo that was held on October 25, 2012 at C.R. Smith Museum in Fort Worth. Both companies joined forces with the Fort Worth Airpower Foundation and American Airlines to hold the expo among the museum's historic aircraft and aeronautical memorabilia.
