Northwestern Tech Students to Adopt Families This Christmas
Southfield, MI, December 1, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Partnering with the Volunteers of America Michigan and their Adopt a Family program, Northwestern Tech will adopt a family in honor of each of the first 20 students that enroll in their HVAC program this December.
The holidays can add stress to everyone, but especially to the Michigan parents who are faced with the disappointment of not being able to provide the food, toys, and clothing their family needs for a fitting Christmas. Northwestern Tech saw an opportunity to not only get involved with assisting these families, but to also engage the entire Northwestern Tech community by adopting a family for each student that enrolls.
As a family-owned school, we know how special the holidays have been for our family and we're thrilled to be able to help other Michigan families provide the holiday joy their children deserve.
Mary Smith, President of Northwestern Tech
Northwestern Technological Institute, founded in 1979, is the HVAC School That Works. Northwestern Tech is where HVAC technicians come to learn, and where employers come to hire them.
