Not Sure What Fabric To Use For Your Flags? Let Vista Flags Help You

With all the different flag materials and printing techniques to choose from, it's a little hard to choose which ones right for your needs. Vista Flags has created a fabric for flag shoppers.

Vista Flags and Telepole helps flag shoppers decide on the right fabric for their custom flags. Whether advertising flags, sports flags, feather flags, RV flags, or college flags, there is always the right fabric to choose from to meet the customer's flag needs. The commonly used fabrics for custom flags are 100D polyester, 200D knitted polyester, and woven/500D spun polyester.

100D Polyester

For clients who want to order custom flags for giveaways or promotional events, flags made of 100D polyester are perfect since these are for limited outdoor use. This fabric is inexpensive and thin enough to see images printed on both sides of the flag. It's printed using dye sublimation and silk screening techniques.

200D Knitted Polyester

Flags made of 200D knitted polyester are more durable than flags made of 100D polyester, but equally as lightweight, that's why they can be flown outdoors all day, all week. They are printed using dye sublimation, silk screening and digital printing techniques.

Woven/500D Spun Polyester

The most durable material, flags made of woven/500D spun polyester are designed to withstand high winds and long-term outdoor use. However, this material is heavier than the other two so stronger winds are needs to fly the flags. These can also be printed using dye sublimation and silk screening techniques, but not digital printing.

The purpose of your flags will determine the material you will use to make them. Once you have your design and choice of material and printing technique, just send a request to Vista Flags and Telepole and they'll make quality custom flags at very reasonable prices.
