Now Recruiting New Vampires

Pledge 5 Foundation and LifeSouth team up to get Gainesville to donate blood!

Pledge 5 Foundation and LifeSouth will be releasing a vampire around the University of Florida campus to turn students and faculty into the living dead this month. The [enthusiastic, tempting] vampire will entice crowds toward LifeSouth blood mobiles to begin their transformation. Once turned over, all participants to donate blood or join the cause on Facebook will receive rewards for the Vampire's Ball, a celebration fit for an elite clan.

The donation will benefit LifeSouth and raise awareness of the need for blood donation around the community. Vampire transformation is not limited to donating your blood; joining the cause on Facebook and recruiting friends will also grant the conversation. Participation will not only give back to the community but will count as rewards for the end of the month Halloween Party at Sharab Lounge, Vampires' Ball. Incentives may include, but are not limited to, free admission, free drinks, and VIP access. Those thirsty for immortality can donate their blood at blood mobiles at The Hub (UF campus) between October 24th - 26th from 10am - 4pm and at University Commons (2601 SW Archer Road) October 27th from 4pm - 7pm.

The Pledge 5 Foundation is a non-profit organization that organizes charity drives for other non-profit organizations.

Throughout the year Pledge 5 conducts food, clothing, toy, blood, pet adoption and public service pledge drives for its numerous charity partners. In conjunction with each of these charity drives Pledge 5 hosts extraordinary promotional events that assist in inspiring people to give back to their community.

The Pledge 5 Foundation staff, interns, student association and service chamber all work to create positive change throughout the Gainesville community.
