Online, October 20, 2011 (Newswire.com) - BeanAir today released its new version of BeanDevice SUN BN that can be used as a Pulse Counter. The BeanDevice SUN BN can be used for applications that are related to Smart Metering & Energy Metering. Some of the main application cases are Technical Building Management, Production lines, Logistics, Presence detection, Process control and more. Multi-Channel Alarms can be assigned and generated for monitoring thresholds during the metering process. Also the BeanDevice SUN BN comes with an integrated light sensor and a data logger. The BeanDevice SUN BN can be used as a standalone device for energy metering and thereby store all pulse values on the integrated data logger.
Several data acquisition modes are available on the BeanDevice® SUN-BN :
Low Duty Cycle Data Acquisition mode (LDCDA): the data ac-quisition is immediately transmitted by radio. The transmission frequency can be configured from 1s to 24h.
Alarm Mode : the measured value is transmitted by radio when-ever an alarm threshold (fixed by the user) is detected (4 alarm threshold levels High/Low).
Survey Mode : operates like the Alarm mode but the device sends frequently a beacon frame informing its current status.
Math Mode : Values such as the mean value, minimum value, maximum value and standard deviation are calculated on sam-ple time series and transmitted by radio .
