Midwest based NPO officially launches to build memorials for OIF/OEF troops that were KIA'd

Non-Profit org., based out of Burlington, IA. gained worldwide coverage last night as on the television show "Your Chance to Dance" had a contestant named Lisa Lewolt compete to raise awareness of the Non-Profit Organization Metal of Honor. The NPO "Metal of Honor", founded by Burlington, IA. residents Troy and Tiffany Ulshoeffer's, goal is to raise money to build memorial(s) for those that gave the ultimate sacrifice in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Operations Enduring Freedom. With the ultimate goal being a memorial placed in Washington D.C. our first endeavor is to place a memorial in Burlington, IA for the tri-state area of Iowa, Illinois and Missouri. With over 5,500 service members killed in action during these combat campaigns this foundation has decided that it is time to properly honor the fallen of our generation. Lisa Lewolt, a actress, dancer and choreographer based out of L.A., chose this organization to promote and will donate a portion of her award money to the foundation. The founder and President of Metal of Honor is a veteran of both the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. The exact make and placement of the Burlington, IA memorial has not been etched in stone but plans are on the way to break ground in the summer of 2011.Metal of Honor officially became Non-Profit Organization on September 16th, 2010 and is currently taking donations via there official website, www.mohfoundation.org, and the y can also be found on Facebook, www.facebook.com/MetalOfHonorFoundation and we have had over 20 professional sports organizations sign on to sponsor us and have already donated autographed sports memorabilia to silent auction.
