NPSA Announces Agenda for Spring Portable Storage Seminar

Online, March 10, 2010 (Newswire.com) - KANSAS CITY, MO. (March 10, 2010) - The National Portable Storage Association (NPSA) has announced the agenda for its 2010 Spring Seminar in Virginia Beach, Va. on April 26-27 at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront resort.

The nonprofit membership association dedicated to the advancement of the portable storage industry will offer a seminar that focuses on the container industry and sustainable housing; LEED Certification; eco-trends and green construction; container survey reports for the building inspector; the needs of single site operators; and container modifications.

"When we put together the agendas for our Spring Seminars, we always look for feedback from our members and from the industry at large. This year's event reflects a strong industry focus on using containers in environmentally-friendly construction," said John Finnessy, CMP, Executive Director the NPSA. "We expect to learn from our presenters about the opportunities and challenges of using containers for sustainable housing - and much more."

The NPSA's 2010 Spring Seminar kicks off on Monday, April 26, 2010 with a noontime luncheon and registration. NPSA Chairman Joe Verdi, owner of A-Verdi Storage Containers, will set the conference in motion with the opening ceremonies before introducing a series of opening-day speakers. There will also be a roundtable discussion moderated by Phil Herndon, President of Container Solutions, and an evening reception. The following day will include a trip to Mid Atlantic Leasing for a hands-on container modification discussion and yard tour.

Registration is $425 for NPSA members and $775 for non-NPSA members. Members can receive an discount by registering on or before March 20, 2010. Non-members are encouraged to join the NPSA an save up to $350 on registration fees. Attendees that do not register in advance will pay $75 additional for walk-up registration.
