O2 MAX and EcoUsable Make World Water Day a Family Day
Online, March 10, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Saving the world can be a family affair. In celebration of World Water Day, families will bike through Santa Monica's Douglas Park on March 27th, 2010 after some food and fun at the Whole Foods Santa Monica.
While the aisles of fair trade coffee and organic goat's milk yogurt may seem daunting, special guest and resident Food Coach at KABC, Lori Corbin will make every family grocery savvy. On March 27, 2010 at 9:30am, Corbin will forge through the grocery aisles, share her favorite foods, and pass on a few health tips.
But as March 22nd's World Water Day reminds us, water is important. Lauded eco company EcoUsable (www.ecousable.com) has donated refillable stainless steel water bottles, perfect for fueling a fun bike ride and reducing our carbon footprint. World Water Day with O2 MAX will conclude with refilling the water bottles and shopping at Whole Foods.
This day of healthy fun is part of company O2 MAX's F2 (Family Fitness), a high-energy program where families learn together that fitness can be fun and empowering. With the help of O2 MAX certified trainers, families discover what activities they like to do, far from boring treadmills or aerobics videos. Families can choose to purchase a yearlong membership for $75, which includes events every month sponsored by local businesses, or pay per event $20/family. Other advantages include monthly workouts, sponsor discounts, social events, and quality family time.
