Observer & Eccentric Media Presents Spring Expo Featuring Award Winning Gospel Artist Vickie Winans at Schoolcraft College VisTaTech Center Hosts 10th Annual Event
Online, April 16, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The Observer & Eccentric Media presents the 10th Annual Spring Expo (formally known as the Spring Senior Expo) with special comedic and musical selections from award winning gospel artist Vickie Winans on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center at Schoolcraft College in Livonia.
This annual tradition for active adults features valuable information and resources from local experts, entertainment, free admission, free parking, and complimentary morning refreshments. The first 100 attendee through the door will receive a special door prize courtesy from the Observer & Eccentric Media. In addition, there will also be a drawing every hour for wonderful prizes.
A Spring Expo Special Section will be inserted into all of the Observer newspapers, Novi News, Northville Record, Milford Times, and South Lyon Harold newspapers on Thursday, April 18th and in all Eccentric Newspapers on Sunday, April 21st. This special publication will feature articles, interests and resources for the active adults. The special publication will feature nearly 50 local business exhibitors and 15 demonstrations/ presentations by local industry experts.
The Observer & Eccentric Media is pleased to welcome back Comfort Dental Spa of Farmington Hills as the exclusive gold level sponsor for this year's event. Dr. Aziza Askari, DMD, MBA, MAGD, who has a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry will speak on "Your mouth, Your body".
This year the Observer and Eccentric Media is proud to announce St. Mary Mercy Livonia Hospital as the entertainment sponsor for the 2013 Spring Expo. This award winning hospital is part of the Saint Joseph Mercy Health System has been servicing the community for over 50 years.
The entertainment segment this year features Grammy-nominated, Stellar Award and NAACP Award winning artist, Vickie Winans. Lovingly referred to as the Hardest Working Woman in Gospel Music, she has 13 gospel and comedy albums including accolades for Stellar Award Winner Female Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year for How I Got Over", Grammy Nomination for Traditional Soul Album of the Year, NAACP Image Award Nomination for Best Gospel CD of the Year and numerous other awards and recognitions. Winans has on Broadway, in various plays and other performance musicals during the span of her 28 year career.
