Olive and the Great Flood New Children's Book Released

Olive and the Great Flood is the third children's book for author Connie Arnold. The story of Noah's Ark is told from the perspective of a dove.

Pfafftown, NC author Connie Arnold’s newest children’s book, Olive and the Great Flood, has just been released by Guardian Angel Publishing. It is illustrated by Kathleen Bullock and tells the story of Noah’s Ark from the perspective of the dove, who was sent out to discover if the water had receded following the flood.

Olive has an important role to play in this story. Not only the expected one of learning when the flood is over, but she also helps the other animals stay calm on the long ride. Her sweet and gentle songs help lull them to sleep.

“I am excited to have a new book to share at area preschools as I have my first two,” Arnold states. “Helping instill in young children an interest in books and reading is very rewarding.”

Guardian Angel Publishing is a publisher of children’s books that encourage principles of positive growth for children, sharing and caring, and healthy attitudes. The books are available in print and eBook formats.

Olive and the Great Flood is Connie’s second book from Guardian Angel Publishing, following Animal Sound Mix-up. She is also the author of another book for young children, Count 1,2,3 With Me, and five books of inspirational poetry. As the grandmother of three young boys, she has discovered the fulfillment writing for young children brings while helping them discover the joy of reading.

Connie will be participating in a Virtual Book Tour February 15-28, including prizes, to celebrate the release of Olive and the Great Flood. The tour schedule will be posted on her Connie Arnold, Children's Author blog.
