Oliver Wight EAME Strengthens French Connection With New Recruit From Caterpillar
Online, May 18, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Catherine who has joined Oliver Wight from the world's largest maker of construction and mining equipment, Caterpillar, has more than twenty years of experience across a diverse range of business activities, including implementation of information systems (ERP, APS), demand management, supply chain and strategy management. She believes this will be fundamental to her new role.

Catherine, who is fluent in French, German and English, is based in France where Oliver Wight has had a presence since 1980 (its first in Europe) and which is now part of Oliver Wight's wider European, African and Middle Eastern operation (EAME), headquartered in Gloucester, UK.
Whilst at Caterpillar France, Catherine led several major projects. She implemented the Oliver Wight Sales and Operations Planning process for the organisation and was then responsible for an Oliver Wight Class A programme, achieving certification in 2003. In 2006 she became a 'Caterpillar Production System' member in order to share and audit best practices among the different plants of the group.
Catherine joined Caterpillar in 1991 as a project manager for the corporate ERP implementation; she then moved on to hold several supply chain roles before finally becoming Supply Chain Manager, responsible for more than 350 employees.
Prior to joining Caterpillar, Catherine worked for several years in the agricultural sector and at the Credit Agricole bank, providing technical and economical support to small enterprises.
Catherine is an engineer from the National School of Agronomics (Rennes - 1987) and holds a Master's degree in systems definition and implementation.
