From the FDA's perspective, a primary problem with the dietary supplement industry prior to 2007 related to inconsistent quality in the ingredients used in supplements and a corresponding lack of traceability to the origination of those ingredients," said Imbaro, who started Olympus Brands to help animals enhance their quality of life after witnessing the arthritic pains of her own pets.

All active ingredients in the NuviFlex Hip and Joint Formula Products, manufactured in the USA at the company's cGMP and FDA registered facility, are tested by the US Pharmacopeia (USP) for 1) Purity, 2) Potency 3) Identity and 4) Composition.
