On Edge Events Announces 1st Annual 24/7 Superhero Obstacle Course Challenge

Thousands of runners are expected to participate in the 24/7 Superhero Obstacle Course Challenge is slated for Saturday October 9, 2010 in Forney, Texas.

San Antonio - June 13, 2010 - On Edge Events officially announced this week preparations for a major running event to be held in Forney, Texas on Saturday October 9, 2010 and expected to attract runners from Texas and beyond.

The 24/7 Superhero Obstacle Course is an off-road obstacle course based run offering a full 24 obstacle 7 mile course for the seasoned runner and a half-course "fun run" featuring super hero themed costumes worn by participants. Runners are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero for the run and costume contest.

The brainchild of Audrey and Rafael "Trini" Trinidad of San Antonio, the event was inspired by the tremendous interest in off-road running. The superhero theme will also serve to honor special modern day "superheros" for their service to their community.

The 24/7 Superhero Obstacle Course Challenge will benefit the Dallas based Kidd's Kids charity founded by syndicated morning radio star, Kidd Kraddick.

Runners can register online at 247Superhero.com
