On-trend Grey Engineered Oak Sienna Wood Flooring Now In Stock At Urbane Living

Urbane Living's new Engineered Oak Sienna wood flooring taps into a major interiors trend for 2012 - grey flooring.

The latest stock just in at Urbane Living gives homeowners the chance to bring their home up to date with grey flooring, a look that is very much in vogue at the moment.

Grey flooring was recently described by Flooring Focus magazine as "the hottest colour trend in interior design". The new Engineered Oak Sienna wood flooring, which has just arrived at Urbane Living, is fumed to give the timber a warm base colour and then finished with a grey-tinted pigment to give a subtle but distinctive hue. The wood is then sealed with wax oil.

The shade is ideal for modern homes and elegant enough to work well with both light and dark furniture.

Adam Robertson, co-founder of Urbane Living, commented: "Grey floors are currently popular; the hint of grey in the Oak Sienna creates a sense of calmness."

With a super-wide board of 220mm, the floor comes with a 6mm oak wear layer on 14mm birch ply, offering a long-lasting plank with excellent stability.

The Engineered Oak Sienna wood flooring is a durable option and thanks to the hard-wearing finish it's suitable for both homes and commercial properties, even in high-traffic areas. Engineered wood flooring, such as this product, is also ideal for areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, where there may be humidity or moisture which could warp or damage solid wood flooring.

The flooring is made from European white oak and as part of Urbane Living's environmental policy it comes with FSC accreditation and an FSC Chain of Custody Certificate.

The new wood flooring has just landed in stock but demand is already high. Adam Robertson said: "This is set to become one of our bestsellers in 2012."
